Description
This contract position offers an opportunity to provide high-quality medical care within the dynamic field of orthopedic surgery, ensuring patients receive the best possible outcomes.
In this role, you will be part of a collaborative medical practice focused on delivering exceptional orthopedic services. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat a variety of orthopedic conditions, contributing to our mission of enhancing patient health and well-being.
Responsibilities- Perform orthopedic examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat a range of orthopedic conditions
- Conduct surgical procedures as necessary
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options and post-operative care
- Stay updated on advancements in orthopedic medicine and surgery
- Participate in continuing education and training as required
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Current medical license to practice in the state of Kentucky
- Completion of an orthopedic surgery residency program
- Experience in orthopedic surgery preferred
- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
- Level IV Trauma
Schedule:
14 on/14 off
24-hour hospital call while in the clinic, but volumes are low
Daily Volume: 20 patients in clinic
Weekly Volume: 1-2 hands-on interventional trauma cases, 6-7 calls
Patient Population:
Adults only
Will cover clinic, elective cases, and ER call
Support Staff: APPs
EMR:
Meditech
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
