Your Opportunity
Appalachian Regional Healthcare seeks a Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our dedicated cardiovascular team in Hazard, Kentucky. This is a unique chance to provide advanced cardiac care in a growing regional health system, supported by a collaborative, physician‑led environment focused on improving community health. You’ll deliver comprehensive interventional cardiology services, including catheter‑based procedures, in a state‑of‑the‑art facility equipped with modern technology.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a full range of interventional cardiology procedures including coronary angiography, PCI, and other catheter‑based treatments
- Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide inpatient consultation and outpatient follow‑up care
- Engage in quality improvement and community health initiatives
- Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease with fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology
- Skilled in performing complex catheter‑based interventions
- Dedicated to patient‑centered care and team collaboration
- Committed to serving the healthcare needs of rural Appalachian communities
