- Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities in whole-group, small-group, and one-on-one settings.
- Support students in developing academic, social, emotional, and behavioral skills.
- Reinforce lessons and interventions as directed by the classroom teacher.
- Prepare instructional materials, classroom resources, and learning centers.
- Supervise students in the classroom, cafeteria, hallways, playground, buses, and during school events as assigned.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment that reflects the school's PBIS expectations.
- Assist students with classroom assignments, technology, and learning activities.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding students, staff, and school matters.
- Help organize and maintain a clean, orderly, and engaging classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the classroom teacher.
- Assist with assessments, data collection, and documentation as directed.
- Support students with special needs or accommodations in accordance with their instructional plans.
- Encourage positive student behavior and model appropriate conduct.
- Attend required professional development, faculty meetings, and school training sessions.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and other staff members.
- Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other classrooms or school areas when needed.
- Follow district policies, school procedures, and all safety protocols.
- Perform other duties assigned by the principal or designee.
