Description:

The Cath Lab Radiologist Technologist position requires 2 years of experience.
Business hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 17:30.
A day off during the week rotates each week.
There is an 8 to 10 day per month on-call expectation.
The normal rotation is one night a week from 17:30 to 07:00 and one weekend every three weeks.
Call duties include Friday from 17:30 to 07:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 07:00 to 07:00.
The call team consists of 2 RNs and 1 Radiologist Technologist.
Scrubs and a lead apron for cases are provided by the Cath Lab.
Response within 30 minutes is required for STEMI Alerts.
The Cath Lab performs 8 to 10 procedures a day in 2 labs, with team rotation in the EP Lab.
The lab averages 6 to 8 STEMI cases a month.
Radiologist Technologist duties include paning the table and scrubbing diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases using various devices.
Responsibilities include using shock wave, balloon pump, Impella, EKOS, Penumbra, and the Acist contrast injector.
Device implantations for both pacemakers and ICDs with single, dual, and Bi-V leads are included.
The role also involves peripheral diagnostics and interventions.
Radiology Technologists are cross-trained in EP for ablations, and training will be provided.
The clinical team uses both radial and groin access.
