Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Rehab/Med Surg inpatient position requiring a KY or compact RN license and strong acute rehab experience.
Responsibilities- Work on the Rehabilitation Unit within a hospital setting
- Patient ratios are typically 1:5 to 1:6
- Rotating 36/48 hour weekly schedule with night shift hours from 19:30 to 07:00
- Meditech EMR system is used on the unit
- Floating to other units may be required during low census
- Assignment is for 13 weeks
- Bi-weekly orientation sessions are provided for incoming staff
- Travel pairs are not allowed unless exceptions apply for high-need units
- No local candidates will be accepted due to the 100-mile radius rule
- Active KY or compact RN license is required
- Minimum of 1-2 years current acute Med Surg or rehab experience
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
