American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Med‑Surg assignment requiring a KY or compact RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

• Position is on a Telemetry/Med‑Surg unit with both telemetry and observation patients
• Patient ratio is typically 1:6 or 1:7, subject to census fluctuations
• Bi‑weekly orientation provided
• 36/48 hour pay period rotation, with 12‑hour day shifts (07:00‑19:30)
• Floating to other units is required during low census
• No local candidates accepted; must reside 100 miles from the facility
• Care for Med‑Surg, telemetry, and observation patients on a busy unit
• Holiday coverage is required as per facility policy
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Dress code will be specified during assignment confirmation
• Travel pairs are not permitted for this assignment
• First time travelers will be considered

• Active KY or compact RN license required prior to consideration
• Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry/Med‑Surg RN experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Two references required
