Travel Stepdown​/PCU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit in Hazard, Kentucky.

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication; report adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment indicates adverse symptoms.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• 1‑2 years recent acute‑care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications (additional certifications may be required).
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 20 lb (up to 50 lb patient transfers).
• Strong stress‑management skills and ability to work with diverse patients.

Duration: 13 weeks
