This travel nursing role offers professional growth through hands-on experience in a dynamic Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTAC) environment. You'll work closely with dedicated teams using the latest clinical protocols and electronic medical records (Meditech EMR), gaining exposure to diverse care practices and leadership approaches that enhance your nursing acumen. Enhance your resume as you manage complex cases, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and gain invaluable insight into advanced patient care.

Schedule/Hours:
  • Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
  • Every other weekend required
  • 36/48 schedule per two-week pay period
Qualifications:
  • Active KY or compact RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of current LTACH experience required
  • Med/Surg, Telemetry, or ICU background preferred (1:4 nurse-patient ratios)
  • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH certifications required
  • Must live at least 75 miles from assignment
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Orientation is bi-weekly
  • Submission to a single job at a time
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive care for medically complex patients in an acute care setting
  • Monitor and document ongoing patient status using Meditech EMR
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for care planning
  • Respond efficiently to emergencies and evolving care needs
  • Adhere to evidence-based practices and facility protocols
