This LTAC travel nurse job in Hazard, Kentucky, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel LTAC Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center. This role pays $2,123 per week and follows a Days shift with a 3x12 schedule. In this LTAC travel nursing job, you will provide patient care in a hospital setting, assess and monitor patient conditions, support urgent interventions, document care accurately, and collaborate with physicians and the clinical care team during fast-moving patient situations.

2+ years of recent LTAC experience.

Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Kentucky and national regulatory bodies.

Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center is a roughly 358-bed nonprofit acute-care hospital and the regional referral center for the Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) system across eastern Kentucky's Central Appalachia, serving roughly ten mountain counties. Travel nurses work a rural referral hub with cardiac, cancer, and behavioral-health depth uncommon for its size.

A Level IV Trauma Center and a DNV Primary Stroke Center, with ICU and med-surg units serving as the area's critical-care resource.

An open-heart surgery program and cardiac catheterization, delivered through an ARH partnership with the University of Kentucky's Gill Heart Institute (a UK cardiothoracic surgeon based in Hazard performs coronary-bypass and valve surgery).

The Hazard ARH Cancer Center and an accredited Breast Center, keeping cancer care close to home.

Obstetrics and women's health, general/robotic/bariatric surgery, and a hyperbaric wound-care program.

The adjacent Hazard ARH Psychiatric Center — the designated acute mental-health facility for a 21-county region — plus an on-campus long-term acute care hospital.
