Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown / PCU

Location: Kentucky
Specialty: Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 3x12 & 4x12 Rotation (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Schedule: 84 Hours Every Two Weeks (One Week: 3 Shifts | Next Week: 4 Shifts)

We're seeking an experienced Stepdown/PCU Registered Nurse for a rewarding travel assignment in Kentucky. Join a collaborative team caring for medically complex patients in a 34-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio.

• 34-bed Stepdown/PCU
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5
• Meditech EMR
• Float within scope of practice
• Every other weekend required
• Day shifts only

• Active Kentucky RN License or Compact RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown/PCU experience
• AHA BLS Certification
• AHA ACLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• Must live 75+ miles from the facility (local candidates are not accepted)
• Two professional references (including one Charge RN or higher and one Supervisor, both within the last year)
• Valid driver's license and required certifications at the time of submission

• Schedule alternates between 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next (84 hours per pay period).
• Block scheduling is not available

• Up to 7 days of requested time off may be considered if submitted before the offer.
• Travelers must be willing to work either a major or minor holiday if scheduled.
• Float assignments may occur within your scope of practice.
