Correctional LPN

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to incarcerated patients on assigned daytime shifts
• Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations per provider orders and protocols
• Perform patient assessments, triage, and routine sick call visits
• Document all care accurately in EMR and maintain thorough medical records
• Support providers during exams and minor procedures
• Monitor chronic conditions and coordinate follow-up care
• Maintain infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
• Communicate with correctional officers and facility staff to support safety and coordination of care
• Participate in emergency response and crisis situations as needed
• Contribute to a collaborative, compassionate care environment and ongoing quality improvement
