American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP RN with a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience and required KY or compact RN licensure.

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including diagnostic and interventional procedures, EP, IR, and pre/post-procedure care
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday
• Some assignments follow a rotating 36/48 schedule with 84 hours per two-week pay period (one week 3x12, next week 4x12)
• On-call responsibilities 1-2 times per week
• Weekend coverage required 1-2 times per month
• Must respond to STEMI calls within 30 minutes
• Float required within scope of practice
• Meditech charting system experience preferred

• Active KY or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab/EP experience required
• IR experience a plus
• Proficiency in cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, stent placement, Impella insertion, and left/right heart catheterization
• Experience with EP procedures such as cardioversion and pacemaker insertion
• Skilled in vascular closure systems, sheath removal, and topical hemostasis
• Knowledge of procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Experience with emergency medications, antiarrhythmics, and IV vasopressors
• Driver's license required, with address matching permanent address
• Two professional references required, including one charge or higher and one supervisor, completed within the last year
• Copy of certifications required for consideration

• Scrubs and lead apron provided for cases
• Perform circulate and scrub procedures for cardiac and vascular cases
• Manage dysrhythmias, monitor ACT, and perform 12-lead EKG/ECG
• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care
• Flu vaccine required; declinations not accepted, though medical and religious exemptions considered case by case
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Up to 7 days of RTO considered if submitted upfront; no changes accepted after submission
• Must work either a major or minor holiday shift for every holiday
• Travel pairs accepted on a limited basis and will not be scheduled on the same shift or unit
• Previous travel experience preferred, though not required
• Returning travelers must take a minimum 6-month break after one year before being eligible to return
