Registered Nurse - PACU; RN

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years PACU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a vital nursing role by providing high-quality patient care in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting. Your skills and compassion will support patients as they recover from anesthesia following surgical procedures, working alongside a skilled clinical team in a dynamic environment.

• Monitor post-operative patients for complications or adverse reactions as they recover from anesthesia.
• Assess patient vital signs and readiness for transfer or further care.
• Administer prescribed medications, perform assessments, and implement nursing interventions in the PACU setting.
• Maintain detailed, accurate records to document patient status and care delivered.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care requirements and discharge instructions.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, following established protocols for critical care.

• Current and unrestricted RN license.
• Proven experience in PACU nursing, with a clear understanding of post-anesthesia recovery protocols.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
• Exceptional assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities.
• Knowledge of PACU equipment, safety standards, and infection control practices.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple patients with varying needs.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality.

$1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
