Beds: 1 Cath, 1 EP, 1 IR, 1 TEE/Cardioversion

Experience:

2 years
• First Time Traveler: YES

• Blended lab (CCL, IR, EP)
• IR Procedures:
  Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, embolization (UFE), IVC filter placement, SVC repair, line placement (PICC, various central lines), assist with CT biopsies, fistulas, needle aspirations, shock wave lithotripsy, some vascular cases
• Cath Lab: STEMI, IABP, stage PCI
• EP:
  Generator exchange (dual, single, leadless), Afi/A flutter ablations

• RN functions independently in cases
• Strong IV skills; critical care experience preferred
• Knowledgeable in skill set; able to titrate medications
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation

• Support on Unit: RN Coordinator, General Lead Tech, IR/Vascular Lead Tech, Cath/EP Lead Tech
• Charting System/Equipment: EPIC, Alaris IV Pumps, Pyxis, CV PACS

• MERGE Hemo, Phillips C-arm, Volcano, Shock Wave, Phillips Client X-ray

• Floating:
  Between Cath, EP, IR
• Rarely assist in OR
• Designated Pre/Post team

• Meet and Greet with Clinical Practice Partner to gain system access and modules
• Unit Manager access to MERGE and PACS
• 1-2 days of unit orientation based on skill set

• 4 x 10h shifts
• Start time 07:00–17:30
• Flex, rotation schedule; no block scheduling
• Approve time off up to 7 days; additional RTO via email manager:
  Lue Lukan
• No scheduled procedures on holidays;
  Holiday expectations: as needed
• On call:
  Yes; total of 7 days/month
• 1 weekday call/week (Mon–Thu); 1 weekend/4 weeks (Fri–Sun)
• Calls start: 15:30–07:00 (Mon–Fri); 24H (Sat–Sun);
  Response time: 30 mins
• Sleep room: key from manager (plan ahead)
