Job Responsibilities

Install HVAC Systems

Install heating, air conditioning, ventilation systems, and accessories according to company and manufacturer standards.

Perform Ductwork and Fabrication

Design, fabricate, and install duct systems and fittings as required for each job.

Execute System Start-Ups and Limited Diagnostics

Maintain Clean Work Areas

Complete Accurate Job Documentation

Communicate with Customers

Handle Equipment and Vehicle Responsibilities

Train Apprentices

Follow Safety and Brand Standards

Participate in Training

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable installation work history.

Knowledge of the fundamental of operational functionality of residential heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment.

Knowledge of the layout and installation requirements of residential ductwork and fittings.

Skilled in reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting problems with electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems on residential HVAC equipment.

Solid communication and customer service skills. Must have appropriate trade tools.

Climbing, heavy lifting, loud noise, crawling, working in confined spaces, pushing/pulling, carrying equipment, bending, turning, kneeling

Capability of lifting 50 pounds

Capability to carry items weighing 50 pounds.

Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs

Ability to work in confined spaces and to maneuver to attics, basements, and crawl spaces to access HVAC units

Natural or corrected vision to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Educational/certification requirements:

GED or High School Diploma

EPA Certification

NATE Certification

HVAC Certification or Diploma
