SPECIFICS- 10 months, Full-time.
- Unaffiliated Salary Schedule.
- Reports to:
Building Principal.
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement(s).
- Must be Highly Qualified in Math (EX).
- Demonstrates teaching, leadership, and strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must meet No Child Left Behind (NCLB) standards.
- Demonstrates ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities.
- Create a positive educational climate for students to learn in.
- Provide grades and administer assessments timely.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
- Provide ongoing communication to parents on student progress and classroom activities.
- Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures.
- Engage students in the learning process and differentiate as needed.
- Other duties as directed.
