Elementary S.T.E.A.M. Teacher

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution
• Must possess a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate K8 All Subjects

Qualifications:

• Preferred previous experience in teaching or other related fields:
  Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to build rapport with students
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Ability to integrate curriculum; plan and deliver integrated lessons accordingly
• Support and encourage students to make connections using handson, real world activities

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver STEAM oriented instruction through project based learning methods
• Manage and educate students in a classroom setting
• Implement engaging lesson plans
• Adhere to established teaching curriculum
• Maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Maintain the health and safety of all students
• Order and organize appropriate materials
• Perform other duties as assigned
