CIM Computer Integrated Manufacturing System Engineer

Job Description

• Manage and maintain CIM systems for logistics automation
• Review and update communication specifications between CIM and PLC
• Monitor CIM operations and analyze equipment logs
• Troubleshoot issues related to CIM and communication with PLC
• Provide service and support by responding to customer inquiries and assisting with CIM-related issues
• Collaborate with MES and MCS engineers to ensure smooth system integration across manufacturing processes
• Support equipment interface development and validation to guarantee real-time communication between production equipment and higher-level systems
• Participate in system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning to enhance stability and efficiency of CIM operations
• Document technical issues, resolutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference
• Assist in projects for smart factory initiatives, ensuring CIM is aligned with enterprise IT and manufacturing goals

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Strong troubleshooting skills and methodology
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and customer service in the manufacturing industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean REQUIRED

• Experience with MES and MCS integration in a smart factory environment
• Familiarity with equipment communication protocols and automation systems
