Master Scheduler

Job Responsibilities

* Manages production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to customers by execution of master production schedule.

* Works closely with Production Planners on order releases action and exception messages from the company system.

* Analyzes sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements and makes suggestions to optimize efficiencies.

* Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, the purchasing department, and supervisors on material status and production planning issues.

* Analyzes and resolves scheduling issues impacting production.

* Responsible for materials systems management and dissemination of production scheduling data to ensure the effective execution of daily manufacturing plans.

* Incorporates process improvement methods and techniques involved in lean manufacturing as it relates to scheduling functions.

* Implements and drives continuous improvement activities through the application of change management and best practices.

* Ensures collaboration and coordination between relevant departments/plants including sales, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and management.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements

* Associate's degree in business, supply chain, or related field, or equivalent experience.

* Supply chain certification (CSCP, CPSM, etc.) preferred.

Experience Requirements

* Three years of experience in the supply chain field.

* Previous experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
