Senior EH&S Specialist
As a Senior EH&S Specialist, your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Lead and continuously improve the site's Environmental, Health & Safety programs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, Title V, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform hazard assessments, industrial safety inspections, and risk mitigation activities.
- Coordinate safety committees, employee training, and plant-wide EH&S initiatives.
- Maintain OSHA logs, environmental records, compliance documentation, and performance metrics.
- Manage environmental compliance programs, including storm water, waste management, and air permitting support.
- Partner with plant leadership, Corporate Safety, and Corporate Environmental teams to strengthen safety culture.
- Supervise the site's EHS Technician and support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, Kaizen, and 5S.
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Senior EH&S Specialist who enjoys creating safer workplaces and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Senior EH&S Specialist would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- Manufacturing Environmental, Health & Safety leadership.
- OSHA, EPA, and Title V environmental compliance.
- Incident investigations, RCCA, and 5-Why methodologies.
- Industrial safety, hazard assessments, and risk management.
- Safety committee leadership, employee engagement, and training.
- Environmental compliance including storm water and waste management.
- Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, OHST, SMS, CEM, or CHMM (preferred).

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Environmental, Occupational Health, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum Experience:
7+ years of EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment. Type of Position:
Full-time Permanent position with benefits.
