Maintenance Mechanic
for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in
West Hazleton, PA
. Details for the position are as follows:

Direct Hire Full Time job.
Pay rate: $35.42/hr W2 with benefits.

Shift hours: 2:30pm – 10:30pm M-F.

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of current or recent Industrial Maintenance experience
• MUST HAVE – Experience maintaining, repairing and installing packaging machinery and equipment.
• MUST HAVE – Experience troubleshooting and repairing 480-volt 3 phase equipment.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and experience with machine shop equipment
• Basic welding and electrical skills
• Experience in an ISO and/or GMP regulated environment.
• High school diploma or GED required (vocational/technical coursework preferred)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Industrial Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing packaging machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner within budgetary constraints.

Ensure operation of mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance and aid in troubleshooting technical issues; demonstrated ability to identify issues, conduct root cause analysis and take action to fix issues.

• Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop equipment, troubleshoot and repair 480 volt 3 phase equipment
• Manage self-directed projects from inception to completion; able to work in a team-based environment but can complete tasks on their own
• Willing to work extended shift hours and weekend overtime as necessary

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of current or recent Industrial Maintenance experience; high school diploma or GED required (vocational/technical coursework preferred)
• Intermediate to advanced skills in mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and experience with machine shop equipment
• Basic welding and electrical skills
• Intermediate level computer skills (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, e-mail).
