Production Scheduler

Superior Recruiting Agency is seeking a detail-oriented Production Scheduler for a manufacturing opportunity in the local Hazleton area. This position will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining production schedules based on customer orders, available materials, inventory requirements, and manufacturing capacity. The Production Scheduler will serve as an important connection between manufacturing and other areas of the operation, working with teams such as sales, materials and supply chain, shipping and logistics, customer service, and production management.

The primary goal of this position is to keep manufacturing priorities organized, anticipate potential scheduling issues, and help ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time. This is not strictly a desk-based scheduling position. The individual will regularly work directly within the production environment to confirm that scheduled work is progressing as planned, materials are available when needed, production information is accurate, and established performance targets are being met.

Successful candidates should be highly organized, comfortable managing changing priorities, and proactive when addressing potential delays or production constraints. The Production Scheduler will also need to develop a strong understanding of the facility's products, equipment, workflow, and manufacturing processes to make effective scheduling decisions. This role works closely with employees and leadership throughout the facility and will be expected to support safe, efficient, and consistent manufacturing operations.
