As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. ** Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
** Candidates must demonstrate familiarity with access control systems and badge management. This includes understanding how to use identification badges for secure access to facilities.

** Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
** Candidates should possess basic computer skills and be comfortable using a computer or tablet for daily tasks. Proficiency in common software applications is preferred.

** CPR Certification (B205)
** Candidates are required to obtain CPR certification. Allied Universal offers free training sessions for CPR certification, which candidates are encouraged to complete prior after their start date.

** Loss Prevention (B210)
** Candidates must have a basic understanding of loss prevention strategies and practices. This includes knowledge of theft prevention techniques and the ability to identify potential security risks.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and response protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, operational areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.

+ Report hazards, unusual conditions, damaged equipment, and security-related concerns to the appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
