Relief Process Operator

Personnel Resources is hiring a Direct Hire Relief Operator.

This is initially a relief operator position. Training will primarily (but not exclusively) be on day shift for the first 6 months. Then this position will relieve other operator-level absences on both day and night shifts. The shift schedule is 12 hours, 6:00 to 6:00, including weekends and holidays. As an operator vacancy becomes available, this position may be assigned to a straight shift.

Must be prepared to work either day or night shift.

Other duties may be assigned.

• Follow established procedures, make adjustments on the processes or processing equipment, manually or through a central processing computer.
• Notify Supervisor of equipment failures and when major problems or variations in the process are detected.
• Follow production schedule.
• Follow established cleaning (CIP) and molasses/raw materials procedures.
• Learn and comply with all established safety rules and food safety rules of the Plant as well as general company policies.
• Responsible for reading and understanding material safety data for chemicals used in process.
• Follow all procedures/precautions when adding chemicals for processing.
• Verify accuracy of all information.
• Record and maintain accurate written and electronic information for fermentation, separation, CIP’s, or any other documents required by company to regulate parameters, procedures and equipment through basic laboratory analysis, simple calculations, and computer controls.
• Communicate and interact with other employees, customers, and management personnel in a respectful and effective manner.
• General Environmental cleaning.
