Position: Travel Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN) - Headland, Alabama

Schedule/

Hours:

• Day shifts: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Preparedness to submit required documentation for credentialing

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive, compassionate nursing care to adult patients with a range of medical and surgical conditions
• Monitor patient status, document clinical data, and respond to rapid patient changes efficiently
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care plans
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and perform bedside procedures as needed
• Provide education and support to patients and families, facilitating clear communication and understanding
• Adhere to evidence-based protocols, safety standards, and best practices in all areas of care
