Associate Escrow Assistant

The Associate Escrow Assistant is responsible for the specific duties listed below. Your specific duties will include:
- Provide support to the Escrow department by assisting with customer service and administrative tasks related to escrow closings.
- Perform secretarial and clerical duties to assist in gathering information and handling funds for escrow closings.
- Answer phone calls, greet customers, make outbound calls, and obtain various information required for escrow closings.
- Process opening orders, perform initial file setup, handle the deposit and distribution of funds, prepare written transmittals for funds and documents, manage reconveyances, perform pre-closing file maintenance, and follow up on assigned files after closing.
Required qualifications for the position include:
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- One year of related experience in the real estate or title industry is preferred but not required.
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
