We are seeking a Math/Physics Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will cultivate strong analytical thinking while helping students see both the beauty and purpose of mathematics/physics.
Our instructional model includes Standards-Based Learning (SBL), emphasizing clarity of learning goals, consistent assessment, and student mastery.
Duties include teaching math and physics courses; using data to inform instruction; designing engaging, standards-aligned lessons; facilitating hands‑on labs; maintaining a safe and well‑managed lab environment; and collaborating with colleagues to support student learning and growth.
Required Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Experience teaching high school math
- Familiarity with data‑driven instruction
- Knowledge of or experience with Standards‑Based Learning (SBL) preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to the mission and NCC core values
- Active, supportive member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
