Leads an Integrated Project Team (IPT) to design, develop, manufacture, and deliver complex servo actuator systems on gun‑hardened and space qualified programs. Works with engineering management to plan, staff, and execute projects of all sizes. Serves as engineering interface to program management, senior leadership, and the customer community. Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost.

• Performs engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints.
• Reviews industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Reviews reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address problems.
• Provides technical support for the engineering process.
• Designs, implements, and communicates an operational plan for completing the project. Monitors progress and performance against the project plan.
• Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Identifies, develops, and gathers resources necessary to complete the project.
• Prepares engineering designs and work specifications.
• Develops project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Selects materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.

• Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience
• Discipline/Major: Engineering degree required
• Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Analytical thinking. Design review. Project engineering. Resource planning. Technical project management. Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) software. Project management software.
• Overcome obsolescence challenges on baseline frozen programs. Work with manufacturing team to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives on established production lines. Advise program technical risks to program management and lead mitigation efforts. Represent engineering on program material review board (MRB) and work with program quality engineer to disposition non-conforming hardware.
• Preferred education and experience:
  Bachelors Degree with 4 years' experience working in defense industry.
