Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Restaurant General Manager for our Westport, CA location. This on-site position involves overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences and adherence to Appellation's high standards of quality and service. The General Manager will supervise staff, manage budgets, control inventory, and develop operational strategies for optimal efficiency and profitability. Additionally, the role includes fostering a positive team environment, ensuring training and development for all team members, implementing company policies, and collaborating with the culinary team to maintain Appellation’s commitment to culinary excellence.

  • Strong leadership, team management, and staff development skills
  • Experience in restaurant operations, including budgets, inventory control, and vendor management
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • A background in hospitality, restaurant management, or culinary arts
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Passion for culinary excellence and dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to adapt to the specific needs and character of the Westport, CA location
