Tasting Room Associate

Stressed Vines Cellars is hiring outgoing and friendly individuals to work “heavy” part‑time to full‑time in our Downtown Healdsburg tasting room. Looking for energetic self‑starters who want to have a meaningful impact on a premium boutique wine brand’s growth as a key member of the team. Privately owned, growth‑oriented, premium California winery with a track record of great wines and solid scores.

• Help create a fun and enjoyable, interactive tasting experience
• Be friendly and respectful to our customers and fellow staff
• Greet all visitors to the tasting room and pour wines for tastings
• Create a positive memorable experience for the guests
• Offsite tasting at local hotels
• Share our story
• Knowledgeably answer general and specific questions regarding the wines and winery
• Handle routine sales transactions, including operating POS
• Assist with display and stocking of retail items and wines
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of facilities
• Assist with special events as needed

• Outgoing “people person”
• Knowledge and passion for premium wines or willingness to learn
• Desire to gain in‑depth knowledge of the Stressed Vines Cellars story, our wines and accolades as well as overall industry knowledge
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have or be willing to obtain and maintain a current CA ABC Pouring Certificate
• Well organized with ability to successfully work independently and without being micromanaged
• Must be adaptive to change – we are a small, growing winery and frequently make adjustments to better suit our growth and objectives
• Results oriented, innovative and strong relationship skills
• Ability to multitask and work at a fast pace
• Proficient skills in Google Docs, Sheets, Keep and Gmail; will be used daily
• Familiar with Commerce 7
• Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with co‑workers and guests
• Display integrity, character and strong relationship skills
• Embrace all company procedures and policies
• Must love dogs;
  Lucky, Casper & Stella, our winery dogs will be at the tasting room most days, and we are a dog‑friendly establishment

• Must be able to lift and carry weights of up to 50 lbs for varying frequencies (a case of wine)
• Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting in a retail winery tasting room environment

Pay: $25.00/hr + commissions + bonuses
