Schedule: Mon - Friday 50/HR, 6:30 am - 5 pm

Why This Opportunity?Join a contractor supporting a major building expansion at an active plastics manufacturing facility in Heath, OH. This long-term opportunity provides hands‑on construction safety leadership while multiple trades complete expansion and facility construction activities within an active industrial environment.
The Construction Safety Manager will maintain a strong field presence while partnering with project leadership, contractors, and craft personnel to identify hazards, maintain OSHA compliance, and safely coordinate construction activities around ongoing manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications- OSHA 30 Construction Certification
- Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience
- Industrial or manufacturing construction experience
- Building expansion or renovation experience
- Experience supporting construction within active manufacturing facilities
- Multi-trade contractor safety oversight experience
- CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential
- Oversee daily safety activities for building expansion and construction operations
- Maintain a strong field presence alongside contractors and project supervision
- Conduct routine site inspections, audits, field observations, and risk assessments
- Monitor multiple construction trades and subcontractor activities
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
- Support safe coordination between construction activities and ongoing manufacturing operations
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
- Monitor fall protection, elevated work, material handling, and equipment operations
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, inspections, and compliance records
- Partner with project leadership to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
- Promote a positive safety culture throughout the project
