Role Purpose

As the Operations Manager, you will lead the day‑to‑day activities of our branch service and parts departments. You are responsible for ensuring machines are sale‑ready and repaired to high standards, while managing a team focused on sales growth, profitability, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership (LMA):
    Lead, manage, and hold your team (Parts Manager, Service Writer, Technicians, Yard Associate) accountable.
  • Departmental Oversight:
    Drive sales and profit goals for both the Parts and Service departments.
  • Facility Management:
    Maintain the physical facility to meet OSHA, EPA, and 5S (85% score) standards.
  • Customer Excellence:
    Handle issue escalations and ensure all services align with company values and machine standards.
  • Support Operations:
    Coordinate with Sales, Rental, and PSSR teams regarding machine availability and status.
Metrics for Success
  • Net Parts Income (vs. budget)
  • Net Service Income (vs. budget)
  • Store 5S Score (85% target)
Requirements
  • Education:

    High School Diploma/GED required; 4‑year BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 6 years of managerial experience in a related field.
  • Skills:

    Strong financial acumen (P&L, balance sheets), proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and superior communication skills.
  • Physical:
    Ability to stand/walk the shop floor and regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Travel:
    Limited travel (approx. 15‑20 days/year) for meetings and training.
