Receiving Operator, 1st Shift

Overview

To thrive as a Receiving Operator, you must be able to coordinate the receipt, transfer, and shipping of materials while servicing the manufacturing departments. In this role, you will use various power industrial vehicles (PIV) throughout the shift, including reach trucks, forklifts, and a clamp truck.

• Receive deliveries by completing the appropriate paperwork and unloading the truck before staging or storing the material within the facility.
• Receive calls from the Filling and Milling departments to pull and stage materials for production.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and dock area throughout the shift.
• Complete scheduled cycle counts to help maintain an accurate inventory of raw materials using a scan gun and/or tablet.
• Lift and move items (e.g., paint cans or full cases containing four cans) up to 75 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• High school education is required.
• Prior forklift experience is preferred, but candidates without experience may train and obtain forklift certification.
• Comfort navigating basic computer systems; SAP experience is a plus.
• A dedication to safety.

• Starting pay of $19.50/hr; increases of $0.50/hr at 6 months and at one year.
• Shift differential of $3/hr for shifts starting at 12 PM or later.
