Receiving Operator, 1st Shift

Overview

To thrive as a Receiving Operator, you must coordinate the receipt, transfer, and shipping of materials while servicing the manufacturing departments. You will use power industrial vehicles (PIV) throughout the shift, including reach trucks, forklifts, and a clamp truck.

• Receive deliveries by completing paperwork and unloading trucks, then stage or store materials within the facility.
• Receive calls from the Filling and Milling departments to pull and stage materials for production.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and dock area.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts to maintain accurate raw material inventory using a scan gun and/or tablet (basic computer systems required).

• High school education required.
• Forklift experience preferred; willing to train and obtain forklift certification if not experienced.
• Ability to navigate basic computer systems; SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (per item or case) repeatedly with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Starting pay $19.50/hr with $0.50/hr increases at 6 months and 1 year.
• Off-shift shift differential: $3/hr for shifts starting at 12 PM or later.
