Systems Engineer

The Boeing Guidance Repair Center is looking for a Software Engineer (Experienced or Senior) to work at the Heath, Ohio location. The team will maintain the guidance systems for the intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).
This engineering position will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and sustainment of electrical, electronic, and electro‑mechanical products and test equipment/software to support U.S. Strategic Deterrence Systems. It will also review test data, direct repairs, develop process improvements, capture process changes, and solve problems with new workloads and part obsolescence.
Heath, Ohio hosts many Air Force metrology organizations, including Bionetics and Bayer Material Science. The surrounding area offers diverse outdoor activities and community amenities, making it a desirable location for our team members.
Position Responsibilities- Contribute to development and deployment of automated test equipment for lab and factory automation, including data processing and control algorithm development.
- Work in small agile teams composed of diverse engineering skills.
- Use your talents to tackle complex problems on a variety of programs.
- Responsible for developing technical products, plans, documentation, and briefings supporting program requirements.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start).
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 4+ years of programming experience.
- 4+ years of experience programming in C, C++ or Ada.
- 4+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer.
- 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience incorporating modifications to legacy test equipment systems with limited documentation.
- Experience programming in C#.
- Experience with networking and database solutions.
- Experience programming in LabVIEW.
- Experience with Microsoft programming environments.
- Experience with data analytics.

Summary Pay Range for Experienced Level (Level
3): $126,650 – $171,350.
Summary Pay Range for Senior Level (Level
4): $160,650 – $217,350.

Additional RequirementsThis position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. Candidates must be U.S. Persons as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62, including U.S. citizens, nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.
