Assembly Technician (Electrical/Electronics/Soldering) for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in
Heath, OH
. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Location:
Heath, OH (100% onsite). - Payrate: $28.53/hr W2
- 6 months contract (possible extension based on performance and budget)
- Must be available for both 2nd and 3rd shift: (2nd shift: 2:30pm to 11pm & 3rd shift: 11pm – 6am), after training, manager will decide which shift to assign to candidates.
- Willingness to work with Beryllium and/or chemicals is needed.
- Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes.
- Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
- Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
- Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications.
- Assists with performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations).
- Works under supervision.
- Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high School diploma/GED)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- 1 or more years of experience working with tools and following work instructions.
- Basic computer skills required including Microsoft office applications.
- Willingness to work with Beryllium and/or chemicals is needed.
- Experience in the inspection of parts, components, assemblies or units.
- 1 or more years experience soldering and assembly of equipment components.
- 1 or more years experience using handheld tools and/or power tools.
- Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and specifications.
- 1 or more years working under a microscope.
