Quality Technician , 2nd Shift

To thrive as a Quality Technician Iat Behr, you should be detail oriented and eager to learn. In this role,you’llsupport manufacturing and quality operations by preparing and testing paint samples to ensure products meet quality control standards and drive improvements. No extensive lab experience is required. We provide full training on equipment, procedures, and systems!

Each day,you’llreceive assignments related to quality checks, raw materials, or product improvement projects.

You’llprepare and analyze samples using lab equipment and perform tests such as viscosity, gloss, density, pH, and scrub testing.

You’ll accurately record results, compare samples, andmaintaindocumentation so teams can evaluate product performance.

You’llalso report any equipment or process issues andhelp keep the lab clean and organized bymaintainingsupplies, cleaning equipment, and supporting basic lab tasks.

• Excellent attention to detail. Accurate testing and recordkeeping are essential to supporting product quality and development efforts.

• A commitment to safety. Following lab safety guidelines andmaintaininga clean, organized workspace is critical.

• Strong organization and communication skills.
  
  You’llwork closely with supervisors and team members while documenting results andmaintainingclear records.

• Basic computer and technical skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar software and experience with SAP is a plus.

• A high school diploma orGEDisrequired.

• AQuality Technician Istartsat  $22.00/hr team members will receive a $0.50/hrincreaseat6 months of employment and another $0.50/hrincreaseatone year of employment.
