Overview
Heber City Corporation is seeking Part-Time and Substitute School Crossing Guards. The normal working hours are approximately 8:15 am to 8:45 am and 3:20 pm to 4:00 pm on school days, with some variation on Mondays and other special days. Duties include activating the School Zone electronic sign, lifting and placing traffic cones, stopping traffic with a stop sign to signal motorists to wait, allowing students to cross safely, and maintaining a pleasant, courteous demeanor.

- Maintain a pleasant, courteous demeanor
- Successful applicants must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug test and pass a standard criminal background check
- Must be reliable and punctual, with the ability to report to the assigned crosswalk on time
- Must have the ability to stand and walk intermittently for at least 30 minutes at a time
