Status:
Part-Time, 28 hours per week
Hours:
Monday–Friday; 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. (hours are flexible)
Pay/Salary: $19.00-$21.00/hour
Summary
Mountainland Technical College is seeking a student-focused, detail-oriented Scholarship and Grants Specialist to support our scholarship team. In this role, you will help students access financial resources, maintain accurate program records, and contribute to services that support student success and academic achievement.

What You'll Do:
Responsibilities of the Scholarship and Grants Specialist include, but are not limited to:
- Working directly with students to identify scholarship and grant opportunities that support their educational goals.
- Assisting students throughout the scholarship and grant application process, helping them access available funding resources.
- Maintaining accurate records and database information related to scholarship and grant programs.
- Coordinating with the Scholarship Committee regarding application reviews, rating practices, and award processes.
- Ensuring reporting requirements are completed accurately for the institution, governing bodies, and stakeholders.
- Managing scholarship and grant processes from application through awarding and follow-up.
- Supporting additional departmental projects and initiatives that contribute to student success.
What We re Looking For:
- Education Requirements: An associate's degree in Communication, Business Management, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Experience: Previous experience in higher education, student services, financial aid, or scholarship administration is preferred.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and database management systems. - Communication & Organizational Abilities: Strong customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Independent Work Ethic: Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
