Job Overview
The Workplace Planning Associate supports the Workplace Planning & Advice outbound and inbound call team, helping clients with 401(k) and other investment solutions through consultative conversations.
Responsibilities- Connect with clients to build relationships through calling and engaging warm leads, guiding inactive and active 401(k) participants through available options.
- Advise on investment solutions and direct clients to appropriate Fidelity partners.
- Handle consultative inbound calls from current customers as experience grows.
- Utilize technology tools such as Salesforce to manage leads and support client service.
- Outstanding customer relations experience and understanding of a sales process, including warm lead engagement.
- Experience or knowledge in sales or consultative relationship processes.
- Accountable, goal‑oriented mindset with self‑motivation.
- Curious and skilled at asking deeper questions to fully understand client needs.
- Adaptable to a “hybrid” work setting, working both remotely and on‑site.
- Comfortable navigating multiple technology systems simultaneously.
- Ability to complete FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 upon hire; certifications required within the first 3.5 months.
- Apply book‑management skills and handle leads using tools such as Salesforce.
- Build rapport with Fidelity clients through profiling and consultative skills.
- Introduce 401(k) participants to business partners for investment solution conversations.
- Set up targeted appointments and identify opportunities to address client needs.
