Full Time RN Position for the Dermatology Clinic in Heber City.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by using technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence‑based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.

• Full Time, 4 10‑hour shifts

• Brand new team for new dermatologist

• Assess:
  Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social and psychological status (including cognitive, communicative and developmental skills). Seeks and evaluates information from the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan:
  Uses assessment information and critical thinking skills to collaboratively develop an individualized plan of care. Actively involves patient, family, team and physician.
• Implement:
  Directs the interdisciplinary care team by delegation, coordination and collaboration. Provides or delegates care consistent with the plan of care, guidelines and professional licensure provisions.
• Evaluate:
  Evaluates patient response to interventions, revises plan of care as indicated.
• Professionalism:
  Promotes nursing profession, integrates legal and ethical standards, complies with regulatory standards, practices within scope, and provides accurate documentation.

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days.
• RNs with less than 12 months experience must obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• BSN requirement effective 4/27/2025; prior hires held to prior requirements.

• Ongoing need to see, read, assess, operate and manipulate equipment.
• Verbal communication with patients and providers.
• Manual dexterity and frequent computer use.
• Expected to lift and transfer patients and lift heavy items.
• Ability to walk and assist with transporting patients; push/pull equipment.
• May be required to stand for extended periods.
• Driving required for certain roles.

Heber Valley Specialty Clinic, Heber City, Utah.

40 hours per week. Hourly rate: $35.22 – $53.29, depending on experience.
