Federal Work Study Student - Peer Tutor (Heber Springs)

The Advising & Learning Center on the Beebe Campus is seeking (1) Federal Work Study student at 15 hours per week for the Fall 2026 & Spring 2027 terms.

Duties include:

tutoring students, participating in study groups as needed, assisting with office traffic as needed, assisting students with checking out textbooks and calculators, assisting with calculator tutorials and programming, and performing any other duties as assigned.

Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required. Math tutors must have completed College Algebra with a grade of "B" or higher. Science tutors must have completed Biology, Chemistry, or Physics with a grade of "B" or higher. Business tutors must have completed Accounting I, Statistics, or Business Calculus with a grade of "B" or higher. A skills assessment is required.

Minimum Salary or Salary Range: $11.00 per hour.

Physical Exertion:

Background Check Statement:
This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check.
