In this role, you will support the full lifecycle of medium‑voltage overhead switching products, including design, testing, product localization, and ongoing product care. You will collaborate cross‑functionally across engineering, operations, quality, and manufacturing teams to drive innovation, improve reliability, and optimize product performance. This position blends hands‑on engineering with product lifecycle ownership in a team‑oriented environment.

• Drive product lifecycle management, product care, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support design, development, and localization of medium‑voltage overhead switching products
• Lead validation, testing, and qualification activities, including hands‑on testing
• Partner with operations, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing teams
• Advance design‑to‑cost and design‑for‑manufacturing initiatives
• Implement product improvements based on performance and feedback
• Maintain technical documentation, specifications, drawings, and reports

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience with medium‑voltage products, switch gear, or overhead switching equipment
• Experience in electromechanical engineering design and development
• Proficiency with NX and Teamcenter or similar CAD/PLM tools
• Experience in product validation, testing, and manufacturing introduction
• Evidence of cross‑functional engineering collaboration
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

• Knowledge of UL, IEEE, or utility standards
• Experience in product lifecycle management, product care, or localization
• Familiarity with SAP or ERP tools
• Understanding of IT systems or TCP/IP communication
• Experience in a global engineering environment

Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees. The pay range for this position is $83,966–$143,942 annually, depending on budget and candidate experience.
