Instrument Instructor (Short Term 2-3 Weeks)
Holds a valid Kentucky teaching certificate; or holds a Bachelor's degree or higher with 2.5 grade point average; or has a high school diploma (or its equivalent), is age 18 or over and has at least 3 years of band experience. Has the ability to communicate effectively with students.
Reports to:
Band Director
Job Goal:
To provide instruction under certified staff supervision.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Provide group instruction to members of the marching band
- Instruct in areas of expertise (i.e. instrument of expertise)
- Be responsible for reports of progress of students to the certified band staff
- Have all students under supervision of certified personnel at all times at approved after-school programs
- Performs other duties consistent with the position assigned as may be requested by the supervisor
