5 Axis CNC Programmer

* Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for complex aerospace components using 5-axis machining in Mastercam

* Create and refine advanced multi-axis tool paths for intricate geometries and hard-to-machine materials commonly used in aerospace

* Program and support CNC lathes with live tooling for mill-turn aerospace applications

* Assist in set up, prove out, and validate programs on Makino machining centers and CNC lathes

* Perform simulation and verification using Vericut to ensure collision-free, efficient, and compliant machining processes

* Interpret aerospace technical drawings, CAD models, and GD&T with a high level of accuracy

* Select tooling, cutting strategies, and machining parameters optimized for aerospace materials and tolerances

* Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to meet strict aerospace quality and repeatability standards

* Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet customer and regulatory requirements

* Maintain thorough program documentation, setup sheets, and revision control in accordance with aerospace standards

* Drive continuous improvement in cycle times, tool life, and process reliability

* Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and aerospace industry standards
