• Set up and operate cutting equipment (e.g., guillotine/programmable cutters) to trim printed materials to exact dimensions
• Read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and trim specifications
• Measure and verify cut accuracy using rulers
• Perform routine adjustments to back gauge, blade depth, and clamping pressure
• Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform basic preventative maintenance (blade changes, cleaning, lubrication)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year experience operating industrial cutting equipment (printing or manufacturing preferred)
• Ability to read and understand job tickets and production specifications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math skills (fractions, measurements, conversions)
• Ability to lift materials (up to ~50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Excellent attendance and can work flexible hours that will include overtime
