Cover Operator – Second & Third Shift
Support production operations by operating cover manufacturing equipment and ensuring high-quality covers are produced efficiently, safely, and according to customer specifications.
What You'll Do- Operate cover-making equipment according to job specifications and production schedules.
- Set up, adjust, and monitor machinery to maintain quality and efficiency standards.
- Review job tickets and verify material requirements before production begins.
- Inspect covers throughout production to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment and production issues.
- Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Work closely with production, bindery, and quality teams to meet customer deadlines.
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational standards.
- Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when production demands require.
- Previous cover operator experience.
- Print manufacturing or bindery experience.
- Experience with automated production equipment.
- Knowledge of quality control processes.
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
Compensation: Based on experience Schedule: Full-Time | Second & Third Shift | Overtime as needed | 4:00pm-12:30am | 11:00pm-7:30am

Physical Requirements- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to visually inspect materials and finished products for quality.
- Ability to work safely around moving machinery and production equipment.
