* Join Oshkosh Aero Tech as a Maintenance Repair Technician II, where you will perform skilled maintenance, advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBBs) and related gate equipment. This role supports preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance; resolves complex equipment issues; and provides technical guidance to other technicians when needed.

** YOUR IMPACT*

+ Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on Passenger Boarding Bridges and ancillary gate equipment.
+ Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, PLC/HMI, sensor, motor, drive, and control-system issuesusing technical manuals, schematics, drawings, diagnostic tools, and testing equipment.
+ Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, reactive, and emergency maintenance to restore safe equipment operation.
+ Replace, install, adjust, and repair parts and components as needed.
+ Perform root cause analysis and support reliability improvements, including corrective actions, parts identification, inventory control, and warranty documentation.
+ Document work performed, equipment status, parts used, repair history, and maintenance activity in CMMS.
+ Provide technical guidance and support tojuniortechnicians as needed.
+ Follow OEM procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, airport rules, company policies, PPE requirements, and all applicable safety/training requirements.
+ Support 24/7 airport operations, including nights, weekends, holidays, emergency response, and work in ramp areas, tight spaces, and elevated areas as needed.
** MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*
* + High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance, airport equipment, or related experience may be considered.
+ Valid driver's license.
+ Ability to obtain andmaintainnecessary airport security clearances.
+ Minimum3yearsof mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance, airport equipment, or related experience.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills, including the ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
+ Ability to work independently, escalate issues appropriately, and support less experienced technicians as needed.
+ Ability to work variable schedules to support 24/7 airport operations, including day or night shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as needed.
** PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*
* + Previousairport, aviation, industrial maintenance, field service, or facility maintenance experience.
+ Experience using CMMS software.
+
Experience with predictive maintenance, infrared inspections, PLC/HMI diagnostics, advanced electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, or reliability improvement.
+ Basic computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.
** PHYSICAL DEMANDS*
* While performing the duties of the Maintenance Repair Technician II, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to climb, balance, work from ladders, and work in small or elevated spaces. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
