Inventory Control Lead

Responsible for assisting the shift supervisor in managing the warehouse associates and workload. Performs all job duties of the department. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES, include the following.
• Effectively perform all job duties of department meeting all set goals and standards
• Informs supervisor of any unsafe or hazardous working conditions
• Reassign associates to different job tasks as needed
• Assists in performing physical inventories and proper stock locations
• Assists in training new hires Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Assist in maintaining the security for the warehouse
• Conduct work assignments in a manner which promotes safety
• Assists associates in training of proper methods and techniques to enhance individuals’ productivity and accuracy
• Perform job duties according to set goals and metrics
May assist in reporting and investigating all work-related injuries Other duties may be assigned to accomplish company or department objectives.
