Job SummaryUnder general supervision, the Warehouse Dept. Lead will lead departments to meet daily requirements, achieve business goals, and pursue continuous improvements. Responsibilities include safety awareness, order consolidation, picking, packing, replenishment, shipping, receiving, inventorying, and re-warehousing. Operations must be completed in a timely manner to maintain established department and location standards/goals.
Job Expectations- Verifies accuracy of production or location and sets or assigns product locations
- Re-bags/re-tickets, replenishes, and stocks merchandise as needed
- Performs product count and reconciliations (count cycle)
- Supports warehouse personnel with inventory issues and physical inventory management
- Conducts inventory troubleshooting and research to complete customer orders
- Updates computerized inventory records using cubiscan machine
- Performs manual, computer, or RF functions to enter data into systems
- Manages workflow based on available workload and orders
- Documents issues and challenges and reports to management
- Adheres to company policies, procedures, training guidelines, best practices, and operating procedures
- Ensures inventory levels are maintained within proper guidelines and reports discrepancies
- Trains new or newly assigned team members on proper methods and standard operating procedures
- Studies and standardizes procedures to improve worker efficiency
- Coordinates with other Leads in the distribution center for activity alignment
- Identifies risk areas related to theft and relocates high-risk items
- Maintains a neat and clean work area
- Maintains appearance standards according to location dress code
- Follows all location safety guidelines
- Ensures equipment and department supplies are maintained

Ability to safely operate hand and power equipment according to procedure.
Experience RequirementsGenerally requires a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of related experience.
Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma required, or combination of education and equivalent work experience.
Judgment/Reasoning AbilityAble to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise, and diplomacy. Determines when to escalate issues in a timely manner.
Physical DemandsRegularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, climb stairs, use hands and fingers, bend, stoop, reach, and lift materials up to 60 pounds. Proper lifting techniques are required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Work EnvironmentNoise is usually moderate. The environment is hectic, fast-paced with multi-level distractions. Requires company uniforms, closed-toed shoes, and may require safety equipment. Ability to work extended hours as required.
